Welcome to APC Summer Camp

A Day at APC Camp

July 5th – August 12, 2022

6 weeks

  • What we are doing to keep everyone safe

Our main priority is to keep everyone safe throughout summer camp this year.

Everyone will be required to wear masks on AT ALL TIMES.

Alcohol based hand sanitizers will be placed all throughout the church.

Children will be asked to sanitize their hands after each activity.

All children will bring their lunch from home and eat snacks and lunch in their classrooms.  Please keep in mind that we are a nut-free facility and therefore, children’s snacks or lunch cannot contain anything with nuts.

They will bring their own water bottles.  There will be water fountains for a refill.

We will fumigate each room with Hypochlorous Acid and Sodium Hydroxide mixture, which has bleach-strength but is a non-toxic cleaning agent, EPA registered disinfectant that kills 99.9% of germs, including Staph, MRSA, Norovirus, Influenza A, Salmonella, and Listeria. It’s on the EPA’s List N, the disinfectants approved for use against Covid-19.

We will also clean the church every night as we have always done in previous years.

After camp starts, we will have a COVID hotline for anyone with symptoms to report as soon as he/she becomes aware of his/her condition. We will follow NYS & CDC guidelines with contact tracing and quarantine procedures.

Getting to know the LOVING GOD who loves us unconditionally gives everyone freedom, confidence, joy, peace & Love.

When we know who we are, “Children of God”, we will stand strong and confident.

When we find out what God did to save us from our sins, we will be humbled.

When we find out how we receive God’s grace, we receive the Good News with open hands and humble hearts.

During the time of praise & worship, pastors will speak to the children about God and we will respond to God with exciting and fun praises.

Children will learn worship songs and dances every day.

  • Academics

We will have 2 sessions in the morning to study English and Math.  Students will have lessons taught by the teachers and go over worksheets.  They will also have light homework.

  • Sharing & Prayer

Few times a week, each class will have Sharing & Prayer time where they share prayer requests and have discussions that apply to the camp’s theme.
