The purpose for our educational establishment is to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Jesus has commanded us through His word and deeds.”
Our educational methodology abides by a philosophy that promotes the curiosity and creativity of our students. We hope to foster a culture of exploratory learning through the intentional engagement and instructional encouragement from our teachers to our students. We also hope to help motivate and guide our students to think and feel their way around their surroundings, and to help increase their awareness of God’s good design and intended order for the world He has created.
Our goal is to strive for the highest academic standards. However, it is also our intention to also place a high priority on the shepherding of our students’ hearts and character. It is our belief by focusing our efforts on our students’ academic achievement (head), spiritual formation (heart), and character development (hands), they will experience the best quality of human flourishing that God has designed and intended for. Therefore, we are committed to the the biblical mandate for child development by training up and equipping students to love God and to love others, as Christ first loved us.
Lastly, we want all parents to know that their participation in their child’s development is an integral part of our educational program. We believe partnering with parents is the wisest and most faithful way to plant, cultivate, and nurture the gift of faith because of how God has ordained families. We also believe we are only meant to serve as a bridge between the home and school. Therefore, we want to emphasize the importance of mutual cooperation between parents and teachers in offering the highest quality care and education for our students. We highly encourage parents to ask lots of questions, to give us constructive feedback, and to get involved whenever they can!
We hope by the grace of God that everyone involved in our program will come to believe and trust in God’s design of rearing up children. It is also our hope that we might be a faithful witness to the future generation of God’s kingdom and to our neighbors as we clearly reflect the glory of God and our greatest resource: not in what we teach nor in how we teach it, but rather in Whom we find our reason for teaching.
“It’s all about Jesus. It’s always about Jesus.
And it’s only about Jesus.”
Thank you so much!
From the entire APC Preschool family,
